Stuffed animals

Carry on baggage
Yes (<350ml)
Checked baggage
Yes

Certain powder and granular materials inside stuffed animals (e.g., glass beads, poly-pellets, sand, or pebbles) are limited to a quantity of 350 ml/g or less (roughly the size of a soda can). If the stuffed animal contains over 350ml/g of powder or granular material, it is not permitted in carry-on baggage.

Note that stuffed animals are allowed in carry-on baggage if they are small enough to fit in the bin and go through the screening equipment.

Attention

Certain powders and granular materials may require additional screening, and in some cases, the items may not be permitted. We recommend that permitted powders and granular materials that are not required during your flight be placed in checked baggage. Exemptions on baby food or formula, life-sustaining medication, and sacred or spiritual items may apply.

Stuffed animals that are not filled with this material are permitted in carry-on baggage if they fit in the security bin and can pass through the screening equipment.
