This is a summary of the Privacy Compliance Evaluation (“PCE”) completed by the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (“CATSA”) for the temperature screening activity. The PCE was conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Treasury Board Secretariat Interim Directive on Privacy Impact Assessment, Section 6.4.
The Temperature Screening activity conducted by CATSA is in accordance to Interim Orders signed by the Minister of Transport pursuant to section 6.41(1) of the Aeronautics Act to address significant health risks related to the spread of COVID-19.
The PCE did not reveal any major concerns in terms of compliance with the Privacy Act. Privacy Act.
